Reviews and Ratings
We had a wonderful family holiday at Shearwater, enjoying spacious and clean accommodations. The location is perfect for day trips and local exploration, and the staff were incredibly helpful. However, I did notice that while the facilities added to our experience, some areas could use more thorough cleaning, reflecting a bit of age in the resort.
This resort has a lovely location, conveniently close to a stunning beach and a golf course that offers great views. Our stay was enhanced by Craig’s exceptional service and local knowledge, which allowed us to discover some beautiful attractions. However, the accommodation felt quite dated and could really use some modern updates to improve comfort. Overall, it was a delightful experience despite a few shortcomings in the room standards.
The resort is spacious and offers a quiet getaway, making it a decent place for those looking for a relaxed stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was noteworthy, but the overall excitement factor could have been better. While the staff was helpful, there were a few quirks in the design that made our stay less than ideal. It's a reasonable option for families or groups wanting a base to explore the area.
I had a lovely week at the resort, enjoying its great location which made it easy to explore the beautiful coastal area. Although the rooms were a bit tired, they were clean and spacious with a full kitchen. The amenities, like the indoor pool and barbeques, definitely enhanced my stay. However, my dining experience at the bistro left much to be desired, with poor service and a disappointing meal. Overall, it provides good value for a relaxing getaway but with room for improvement.
I spent a week at the resort and found it to be comfortable and convenient for a relaxing getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of parking available. However, I noticed the dining prices were on the high side, and the resort felt a bit basic overall. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, but it lacks some modern amenities.
